Rag’N’Bone Man (AKA Rory Graham) is de officiële Record Store Day Ambassadeur voor de UK voor 2018.
Dat werd gisteren via BBC Music bekend gemaakt.
Ter ere hiervan verschijnt er op Record Store Day een gelimiteerde 12″op gekleurd vinyl, met twee gloednieuwe tracks:
‘Don’t Set The World On Fire’ & ‘George Has Got A Friend’ – opgenomen bij live to vinyl at Metropolis Studio.

In Amerika werd al eerder bekend dat Run The Jewels ambassadeur zijn van Record Store Day US.
Van hen verschijnt er een speciale 2LP op op 21 april 2018. Claw Boys Claw is de trotse Nederlandse ambassadeur van RSD.

“Big up Record store day for having me as their ambassador this year,” says Rory.
“It’s a real nice escape going to a record shop, spending hours flicking through vinyl, checking out new and old stuff, looking at the artwork & reading through the liner notes. I remember when my first project was pressed to vinyl.
I swear I pinched myself 100 times to make sure it was really happening, it was so sick, especially because I’ve always been an avid collector and I never thought I’d have a press of my own!”
To celebrate his ambassador role, Rag’N’Bone Man is releasing two brand new tracks ‘Don’t Set The World On Fire’ & ‘George Has Got A Friend’ that were recorded live to vinyl at Metropolis Studio.
This special 12″ coloured vinyl release has a limited run of 1500 copies which will only be available at record shops on Record Store Day, April 21st.
The songs will not be made available on any future releases so this is the only time fans will be able to get a copy.
