Global Communication is the British electronic music duo consisting of Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard, who have also recorded under the aliases Reload and Jedi Knights. Their 1994 album 76:14 became an acclaimed work of Nineties ambient music. The album features the tracks “8:07” and 5:23”, which are also known as “Maiden Voyage”. “Mayden Voyage” samples “Love on a Real Train” by Tangerine Dream.
For the first time, all six timeless classic tracks from the original Maiden Voyage EPs are available on 12-inch. This 12-inch also includes the highly praised Link and E621 Appliance of Science Mix, and the classic chill-out tune “Funk in the Fridge”.
Exclusively for Record Store Day 2024, Maiden Voyage is available as a 30th anniversary edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on black vinyl.
