Maverick singer-songwiter Alvin Spetz aka That Will Be Lunch is responsible for three wildly eccentric and original albums on Scratchy. Now he’s back with a surreal, dada-esque double AA-sided 7 inch for Record Store Day featuring an electro version of the 70s Wild Cherry disco classic ‘Play That Funky Music White Boy’ – complete with a cuckoo clock, naturally. On the AA ‘Discarded Things’ we find the reclusive ‘art-pop prangster’ Mojo reflecting lovingly on exposed ‘bits of pipework’ which he confesses to finding ‘oddly alluring’. And why not
