Jason Molina was one of the most respected singer/songwriters in the independent music scene in recent years, recording under his name as well as Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co. He died of alcoholism, leaving a modern legacy not unlike that of Townes Van Zandt, one of his obvious heroes. This EP is a tribute to his work, with Glen Hansard (of Frames and Once fame) bringing five of Molina’s finest songs to life.
