Highlighting two cherished reworkings by Moodymann and Yoruba Soul (Onsulade), this fifth installment in the Remix Editions series showcases reinterpretations of tracks by José James and Ben Westbeech—timeless examples of Brownswood’s commitment to genre-defying, forward-thinking music.
Moodymann’s remix of Desire takes José James’ soulful original into a deeper, house-inflected direction. With hypnotic grooves and a signature Detroit warmth, this rework captures the essence of the original while giving it a fresh, club-ready appeal.
